The directory listing script is designed for ease. You do not have to have any programming knowledge, any design knowledge, or even any web knowledge whatsoever. This script will take everything in your directory and display the folders in their own little section at the top of the page, it will then display any files with a corresponding file image that represents the file type next to it, it will then take any images inside of the script and display a thumbnailed image. Along with the folders, files, and images there will be useful information that represents the amount of files and folders inside a folder, the size of a file in kbs, the date the folder or file was last modified, the size of the image in kbs, the dimensions of the image, and the most awesome feature of all. A link to this link that will display a variety of linking formats for your linking pleasure. If you want to find the largest file in a folder, the newest file, the smallest file, or the oldest file the handy sort feature located at the top of every page is there to assist you!
When I said the script was designed for ease I wasn't just talking out of my ass. The only real thing you need to do is upload the index.php file and folder images. After that just load up the index.php file and it will do the rest for you. It will create your thumbs folder, your htaccess file, and remove any unwanted files from listing as defined by you.
To set the dimensions and quality of the thumbnailed images, the files in which you want to be considered images, the files and folders that you want to be ignored, and your filetype images simply just open up the index.php file in any text editor and follow the instructions within. If you do not like my dark gray style you can edit the css in the style.css file located within the di folder. Don't worry! It won't hurt my feelings!
