Hello! My name is Jayd Saucedo and I do web development work! I usually release my work under my internet psuedoname "Saurdo" so that I am easily identifiable. I've found that it is useful for potential clients to get to learn about the person "Saurdo" as well as learn about the developer "Saurdo". Especially since I work an a highly impersonal industry where it is all too easy for people to just become faceless developers. I don't want that, I try to make your personal projects as personal as my own. In order to accomplish this I hold communication as the most important factor in developing successful applications. Communication is the key to ensuring that I can help realize your vision, and not an innacurate interpration of it. In order to for us to communicate more comfortably here's a little information about me!

I started this website in 2005 as a playground to test my programming knowledge. I learned programming through modifying video games like Half Life 2, from there I started reading programming books and progressed my way to doing web development work! At the moment I am attending college and studying to get a degree in computer science. Programming is my life. It is something that I love to do and something that I take very personally. I never take shortcuts in my work and will always strive for quality. My programming knowledge is completely self taught, because of my ability to learn things on my own I am not afraid of exploring the unknown. If my knowledge base requires expansion for any given project then I am able to do so effortlessly. I never draw a line with my programming ability. If it's technologically possible then I can do it. Website design and development is really the accumulation of all of my skills. All of the other categories are included in this one. In designing the graphical side of the website my major goals are asthetics, compatibility, and usability. Not only does a website have to look good but it also has to run flawlessly on any internet browser that accesses it and if the user happens to be using some insanely small resolution on a 15 year old monitor I want to make sure they can still read and use the website. This website for example can be shrunk to the smallest possible width your browser will go and still not create a horizontal scroll. I use a combination of Photoshop and traditional basic text editor scripting skills in order to have complete control over the design process and ensure that your design does not have any "junk code" that might slow it down.

When I say development I really mean any programming, scripting, or installation work there is to be done. If you simply want a wordpress site set up then I'll do that for you! If you want a wordpress site set up that somehow ties into a VBulletin forum and enables users to cross post and share their account information. Then I'll do that too. Really, any development task you can think of, even if it falls outside of the traditional ideas of programming, I will perform them to ensure that your website gets off the ground and meets every one of your expectations. I know PHP, Javascript, HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, SQL, and Python, as well as other more obscure languages (like ones purely used in certain applications). My breadth of programming language knowledge allows me to come up with the most affective methods of development and helps ensure that no task is too foreign or obscure for my ability.

The internet is complicated. Really, it is. It may not seem that way from the visitors point of view, but once you start working in web development you realize just how complex things can get. Websites are not something you want to just hack together. If you want them to last, be secure, and require minimal maintenance then you need to plan ahead. I've been studying and working in web development for almost a decade now, I know what works and what doesn't. If you don't have much experience with owning a website or creating websites then I'll be more than happy to guide you through it. I won't try and change your vision. My ultimate goal is to come as close to your vision as possible while providing something that works best for you and your website's visitors. Whether that means structuring a website, setting up a budget, or optimizing a website for search engines.

It's happened to all of us before. We realize how useful a certain application would be, scour the internet until we find something suitable, and then realize how much better it would be if only it had this one extra feature! Well, good news! I can add whatever extra features you need! Hacking and modifying existing programs is how I built my program knowledge and it is therefore something I am very comfortable with. I am familiar with most of the major content management systems such as vBulletin, Simple Machines Forum, wordpress, and a variety of other programs! Even if it's one of the more obscure ones that you need help with, I will definitely be able to do it. I am a completely self-taught programmer and therefore have the ability to quickly acquire whatever new knowledge I need in order to complete a task.

Sometimes things will go wrong and you have absolutely no idea why. It's understandable, it's part of programming. I have seen many different situations and through my experiences I've built up a library of knowledge that helps me quickly track down and fix any bugs. If there's something wrong with your website, or application. Feel free to contact me, if it's simple enough I'll just bat off a suggestion without charging a dime. If it appears to be a massive project then we can discuss the terms of my investigation.

Clients that have hired me to build an application, website, or do any type of programming work whatsoever have a lifetime warranty. If it's not working the way it should then I will do everything within my power to make it so.
